Promoting the Smithfield-Selma area for nearly 100 years

lee house watercolorThe Greater Smithfield-Selma Area Chamber of Commerce is a dynamic organization of over 550 members working together to improve the area's quality of life. It's diverse membership includes small businesses, industries, professional firms, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, government agencies and individuals.

The Chamber was founded in 1970 as a result of a merger between the local Chambers of Commerce in Smithfield and Selma. However, Chamber activity dates back to the beginning of the 20th Century. It's mission is to promote and enhance the area’s economic, educational and social well-being by serving as a unified voice for the business community.

The Chamber invites any individual or business to join the organization and become an active participant. All members can better themselves through Chamber programs, receive a channel of information about the area and work together to make Smithfield and Selma great places to live.
